    • Served 20 years until retiring in 2013
  • WORKED FOR THE CITY’S FIRST BLACK MAYOR
    • Executive Counsel to Mayor Ernest N. Morial from 1980 to 1986
  • A LAWYER
    • Currently of counsel to Davillier Law Group, LLC
    • Created the partnership Waltzer and Bagneris in 1986 and served there until being elected to the Civil Court
    • Began legal career at Fine & Waltzer; promoted to partner in 1979; served there until accepting position with Mayor Dutch Morial
  • A TEACHER
    • Has served as a judicial educator since 1993 on matters regarding evidence, personal injury, legal experts, ethics and professionalism to local university law schools and Xavier University, pre-law students and legal continuing education courses
    • Continues to serve as an Assistant Examiner for the Louisiana State Bar Exam
